So I went to the Beachland on the first to check out my friend Christa's act, Uno Lady. It was a one man band fest of sorts. Anyway Mosquito Bandito had some tasty treats sitting on the table in front of him. I'm not too sure who made these things, maybe it was Christa, THEY WERE GREAT! And vegan! Little balls of peanut butter crunchy goodness covered in chocolate. I need this recipe. yum

A delicious kiwi. I love kiwis so much it's stupid. They are with out a doubt my favorite fruit. I mean bananas are good and all but man kiwis are dope.

Hank really wants this hard boiled egg.

Well too bad it's mine. I think I decided after eating this that I actually don't like hard boiled eggs. It kind of grossed me out.

Nothing like grilled corn on the cob. It doesn't even need anything on it to be good. For some reason corn on the cob makes me think of these two things 1. people with braces 2. my old dog Junior. The braces thing I don't get, I just think of them cutting the corn off of the cob. That's a real bummer because the act of eating it off of the cob is pretty cool. My old dog Junior used to eat corn on the cob. It was awesome he was the best dog ever!

First of all let me just say that these chips are very awesome you should check 'em out! second of all they are even better if you can make yourself awesome guacamole like me! i love making guacamole. it's petty safe to say that it is one of my favorite foods.

two things that everybody, hopefully, loves! strawberrys and chocolate! together are great. there is place near my house called Sweet Melissa's they sell some of the best looking, and tasting chocolate covered strawberrys I have seen lately. there are some covered with half white chocolate half regular milk chocolate and some oreo covered! so here they are!!

got home from work today and went right to cookin'! at first i couldn't decide between burrito's or sloppy joe's. it didn't take long for me to make the right decision. you can't go wrong with a burrito.. unless it's 3am and it;s from taco bell. you know it's a good idea at the time but then the next day you hate yourself for it.

today i came home from work and relaxed for a little while. it was awesome! when i walked hank he ate something weird off the ground. looked like part of a sandwich... then i decided i was going to make some dinner! penne pasta with sun dried tomatoes, garlic, basil, onions and spinach+romano (yeah back on cheese, not like crazy though)

so in this post i am going to try something new! a before picture? i know you're think "what whoa that's crazy?!?!" so let's see if this is any good.

Some of you may have noticed that since this blog started there has been something different about my front tooth. In the blog "BIG update" posed on January 1 you can tell the difference in the photos. I chipped my front tooth. Since the I have been to the dentist and plan on getting it fixed. I will also be getting three cavities filled and having my wisdom teeth removed. I have never had a cavity filled before... I am kind of nervous. So just thought I would keep you all updated on this blogs "claim to fame"(my mouth)

I just ate the best sandwich of my life! I used the "asian tuna marinade" from work to marinade some tofu. This marinade smells amazing!(tastes good too) I also took home some ginger wasabi dressing. which goes on the tuna sandwich we serve. So I sauteed up the tofu and sort of cubed/scrambled it. I was making asparagus to eat with this already beautiful sandwich. When it came time to throw it all together I had a genius idea! "PUT THE ASPARAGUS ON THE SANDWICH!!" So we have the marinated tofu, ginger wasabi dressing, veganaise and asparagus. Let's just say I am really happy right now and satisfied. I cannot wait to make this again.

So anyway I bet you're wondering what is in my mouth. That, my friend, is some tofu scramble. I thought about it all day at work.

That made it even more awesome when I finally got home. I even skipped going to the bank! I just wished that I had some bread

for toast. I love toast. Oh sure you know it's just some toasted bread and butter... that combo is magical! With my breakfast for

dinner I had some grapefruit juice. Which, by the way, is my new favorite juice!

hello readers! happy new year! long time no post so lets get things started. first of all i would like to say that i had some pizza rolls last night. they were awesome! i dont have a pic so sorry. oh man they were so good.

these were good let me tell ya. but i did eat them after drinking a few pints of beer. so you know my opinion may be a little bias. some people that had also eaten those brussels told me they had to poop sooo bad! i didnt get that thank god.

Vegan Shepard's Pie

This thing was probably the best thing i have made all year(08) i gave some to my friends and the regretted it later when there was none left. I cannot wait to make it again. in case you were wondering.... the picture is not of my whole face for a reason. it's hard to get a picture of yourself, showing off the food in your mouth, that looks decent enough. i mean at least enough that i would post it on the web. do you want to look up my nose?!?!

okay last but not least brunch at touch!

i had the breakfast burrito no chorizo or whatever it was that was in there and meat. this was the worst dining experience in 2008 for me. i think our server was "stoned to the bone" as somebody at the table had put it. he forgot to put our order in for like 20 minutes. we waited so long for our food. the burrito was allright but i have had better(the southside in tremont! oh yum best breakfast burrito yet!)

speaking of breakfast burritos... we went to lucky's for brunch recently, i had the breakfast burritos. i usually get the canoe wreck when i am there, it's delicious. this time i decided to try something that i thought i would love. well i didn't. it was terrible. it tasted sweet and not spicy but something. i hated it and it cost about $11. my roommate went too and got the baked mac&chz. i tasted that and it was AMAZING! possibly the best mac in town, other than Crystin's of course. but in the nonvegan way it was the best.

so let's try to have a good year people. i am hoping to post new foodz every sunday. i know it won't happen that way but hopefully more often that lately.

dearest blog,

hi, i just got home from work. i wish i had a friend to hangout with right now! i feel like hanging out! which for some reason lately i have not felt like doing. this blog is wrong! there is no food in my mouth!!! BUT! there is great lakes christmas ale. i hope everyone who reads this (tons of people i am sure) well i hope you're not disappointed for getting off subject.

ok real food talk!
my birthday was on monday so i ate a lot of things! for starters my grandma makes me this awesome cake that is pumpkin pie filling on the bottom and white cake on top. she makes this for me every year. when she puts it in the oven the pumpkin is on top! and when she takes it out it is on the bottom. anyway i don't really like regular cake so she makes this for me. i love it!

second! my grandma took me and andy out for my birthday. to my favorite mexican restaurant, nuevo acapulco. it was awesome. i used to go there every year for my birthday but then i stopped hanging out with my dad and i don't drive. so is was sort of hard to go without having to ask somebody to take me.... which i don't like doing. but i think andy's burrito won over his heart and we may start going there sometimes.

third! my good friend anthony took me to india garden in lakewood. it was also fucking great. my brother came with us. i had mattar paneer. you may recall that in a recent post i had mattar paneer in columbus. this was the most delicious mattar paneer i have ever had. i can even admit that level 8 spicyness might have been too much. i think next time i will get level 7. but i might like level 8.... it was so delicious! i cannot wait to go back.

so anyway back to this christmas ale. .. i had three in the fridge and now i coem home and there are only two. what the hell man?! i mean i rarely have beer in there. i am very angry.... mostly because i want three right now. not two.

work was awesome it wasn't too busy so i got to talk to people a little more. i like being able to talk to everyone a little more. you know it's more like hanging out than working. and fun. paula and crystin were there and i always like working when they're there.

Cbus

So it ended up that I didn't eat too many notable things while I was in Columbus. Two things: Hound Dogs Pizza(smokin' joe's) and Indian Kitchen.

First of all the pizza was awesome. It always is. This time around though I was sober and it was delicious. I even brought some home with me. I wish I had more!

Then Indian Kitchen. I had the buffet, it wasn't bad. I am used to Udupi Cafe( http://www.pluggedincleveland.com/restaurants/2020+udupi+cafe.html) Their buffet it phenomenal. It might be one of my favorite things ever. You should definitely check it out if you ever have a chance...

Ok back to Indian Kitchen. I liked it a lot and I would go there for my indian food fix if I lived in Columbus.

nothing like a day off

So today is Thursday, one of my two days off. When I woke up today I was so happy that I didn't have to work. I made myself an egg sandwich for breakfast.... let's say brunch. It was pretty good. Two eggs, swiss cheese, salt/pepper and cholula hot sauce. One of my favorite hot sauces!

While I ate this I watched Ugly Betty... a show that for some reason I like. Plus you can watch it on the internet.

so the other night i was at a going away party. it was alright considering a friend of mine is moving away. i was sitting at the bar eating some peanuts, they were delicious! i could not stop eating them. i swear they were the best damn peanuts i have EVER tasted. then my friend denny turned to me to take a picture i just opened my mouth so she could see these delicious things in my mouth. once i received the picture i decided i needed to document all of the delicious things that i eat. so now here's this blog. i don't have a camera right now but i will soon. so if i don't post very often it is either because all i have been eating are raw potatoes or still no camera.
